My Asakids love this book. Yes, they've taken creative license with the stories but I haven't found a single book that hasn't. The illustrations in this book are great and the stories have been rewritten in a way that captivates little ones.

Great illustrations
My son actually took this book out from the library and we had such fun reading it, that I had to purchase it. The illustrations are great and the stories are well written in a way that both child and adult can enjoy. Hail Thor!
This is a great book. Wonderful illustrations and story that gives the reader an authentic view of the Sun of Earth.
I highly recommend this book for children and adults alike.

The illustrations and witty prose make this one of my favorite books I have purchased on Norse mythology for my nephew. The illustrations grab your attention and make the book an obvious choice to read over and over again. For pagan parents in particular this is a lovely way to introduce your children to the Nordic God Thor.
Great stories! My 5 year old loves them. It's a different Thor from the Marvel comic version. But it's nice to read about the real Scandinavian stories. It gives him a different dimension while still loving the Marvel version
My 5 year old who loves super heros loves this book. The stories are wonderful, and well written. There are just enough pictures to keep his imagination going and his attention on the book. The illustrations are fabulous, bringing about the defining characteristics of the characters. We look forward to reading Thor again and again. I put to great use the pronunciation guide at the back of the book.
I always loved Norse mythology as a kid so I got this book on a whim. (I still read children's books couple times a year!) This book is ok, but D'Aullaire's Norse gods & Giants has all the stories that Adventures of Thor has and more. I can't recommend this book as long as i know there's another with more stories about Thor, better art and more information.
